Katarina & Adrian

Meet Katarina and Adrian. These two lovebirds are living out on Oahu as Adrian is stationed here. Recently married and do to the circumstances had yet to get professional photos done. Adrian's dad, Adrian Sr., wasn't having it and wanted photos of his boy and new daughter-in-law. So,, for Christmas he bought them a gift certificate for a session with Jenna Lee Pictures from Afghanistan.. YES, AFGHANISTAN. (What a cool dad!!) Adrian Sr. is also in the military and currently deployed. After a bit of a delay due to their busy schedules, we finally had what turned out to be the perfect morning!

At 7a the lighting in the park was absolutely beautiful creating gorgeous bokeh that danced across the images. As you may know, I have a love affair with natural lighting and prime lenses! This was primarily shot with a 50mm 1.4 and a 5d mk III.

Dawna & Diego Maternity

While on Maui a couple of weeks ago Q and I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot this Awesome couple's maternity photos. Being Maui Maternity Photographers is SOOO much fun!

Dawna is gorgeous and absolutely glowing from her pregnancy, talk about a cute momma!

This is their first child and given the diversity in her parents, I cannot wait to see what this beautiful baby looks like!

The day we were set to shoot it was pouring all around Lahaina, as we racked our brains for the perfect place to shoot given the weather (and our limited time on the island) it suddenly came to us. Only a year ago, I had shot Dawna's sister Brendi and her new husband Justin's Designer Wedding photos at a gorgeous spot off the side of the pali right in gorgeous Maui. It had lots of tall grass, unique structures, beautiful coastline... BINGO! We found our spot..
