Those candid moments...

I was recently at Dave & Busters after a Senior Photo shoot, where my cousin and his little one met me for dinner. She's super spunky at the sassy little age of three and half (my cousins kid, not my cousin- though I will say, she totally got it from her daddy! He's been a sassy little trouble maker since he was born. I could write for ages on the trouble he used to get me into, I have scars all over my body to prove it. Thanks cuz! But back to my story..) I was super stoked I just happened to have my DSLR with my 50 prime lens coming off a shoot when this magic happened..

Mia's little bestfriend Ineza showed  up to her great surprise...

"My friend!! My friend!! That's my friend!!" They both kept jumping up and down yelling as they hugged and hugged and hugged. Too stinkin cute they then sat through lunch, laughing, hugging, and gabbin' like a couple of old ladies over coffee. You'd think these 2 had been best friends for years.

Mia and her Daddy, then showed Ineza how to shaka, because you can't be a kamaaina keiki and not know how to shaka, right? I think Mia had her shaka down before she could walk or talk that little girl is on point when it comes to her local swag. She always seems to teach Auntie Jenna a thing or two.

The great thing about Dave & Busters is they have BALLOONS! & what's better than a stinkin cute kiddo and a balloon when you have your DSLR and a 50? Not much! I got the hugest kick out of Ineza who constantly has a blast playing with her daddy, go nuts with this balloon. Pretty sure she was cracking up for 15 minutes straight.

Taking little ones to Dave & Busters is especially rad when they're at the age where they "think" they're playing the game... but really the demo is just running.. then you can keep all of the credits yourself and just give them the tickets! Mia had an awesome time running around "playing" all the games while Auntie Jenna got some much needed gaming time in. (4d Zombie game anyone? My fav!)

Afterwards Mia was about to pass out, but not before she picked out a prize...

...amongst other things.

Mia, I envy your ability to multi-task.
Love, Auntie Jenna.

xoxo, JL
